The Calgary CREB Homeport service - the entire active MLS® database in the palm of your hand!

Homeport is a data extraction and delivery system for viewing active listings on Palm OS, Microsoft Pocket PC (Windows) and Blackberry hand held devices. In its final form, the listing information is organized into pre-assembled summaries: new listings, new prices, new sales, MLS® number, district, price range, street name, and district and class, etc. The user interface for the operating systems is the simple browser window shipped with wireless hand held devices so the "point and click" rules of website use apply here.

Compatibility

Our system works with all wireless hand held units. The only requirement is that you must have a wireless connection for your hand held PDA.

Features

The Windows Pocket PC and the Palm browsers allow simple navigation using the stylus pointer. The Blackberry browser allows simple navigation using the scroll button.
A contact roster is included for convenient access to phone, fax and email addresses for the current list of Realtors.
Entire active listings database is updated every fifteen minutes.
Sold listings include extra fields: Selling Agent, Selling Price, Closing Dates
"New Listings" include all of the listings posted on the day indicated on the start page.
The "New Sales" list includes four calculated values for each map area - Average Sale Price Vs Original Price (SP/OP), Average Sale Price Vs Last Price (SP/LP), Average Sale Price Vs Assessed Value (SP/AV), and Average Days on Market
"District and Class" searches enable users to watch a neighbourhood and a particular class of property.
